ACL 2014
ACL 2014 - http://www.cs.jhu.edu/ACL2014/home.htm -  covers a broad spectrum of disciplines working towards enabling intelligent systems to interact with humans using natural language, to understanding computational and other linguistic properties of language, and to enhancing human-human communication through services such as speech recognition, automatic translation, information retrieval, text summarization, and information extraction. The conference program includes presentation of accepted papers, as posters and/or oral presentation, and also includes tutorials, demonstrations, and workshops. The ACL 2014 program will also include eligible papers accepted by the Transactions of the ACL (TACL), the new journal of the ACL.

The ACL-IJCNLP 2015 Conference Will Be Held in Beijing, China
ACL-IJCNLP 2015, the joint conference of the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics and the 7th International Joint Conference on Natural Language Processing of the Asian Federation of Natural Language Processing, will take place in Beijing, China on August 15-20, 2015.  The ACL-IJCNLP 2015 will be hosted by the Chinese Information Processing Society of China (www.cipsc.org.cn). Local arrangement co-chairs: Le Sun, Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Yang Liu, Tsinghua University.

Beijing is the capital of the People's Republic of China, and the nation's political, cultural, scientific and educational heart as well as a key transportation hub. Beijing is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, some famous tourist attractions including Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, and Great Wall. IJCNLP 2013: The 6th International Joint Conference on Natural Language Processing

The International Joint Conference on Natural Language Processing (IJCNLP) was initiated in 2004 by The Asian Federation of Natural Language Processing (AFNLP) Associations with the major goal to provide a platform for researchers and professionals from around the world to share their experiences related to natural language processing and computational linguistics. In the past years, IJCNLPs were held in 5 different places: Hainan Island (2004), Jeju Island (2005), Hyderabad (2008), Singapore (2009), and Chiang Mai (2011). This year the 6th IJCNLP will be held in Nagoya, Japan, October 14-19, 2013. The conference will cover a broad spectrum of technical areas related to natural language and computation. Besides main conference, the program includes tutorials, demonstrations, and workshops.

2013 Institute of the Linguistic Society of America: Call for Workshop and Conference Proposals

The 2013 Linguistic Institute will take place June 24 to July 19, 2013 on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, with the theme ‘Universality and Variability'. The Institute focus will be on the unusual synergies currently emerging in Linguistics, tied to exploring and modeling what is invariant about human language while also working to understand the complexities of linguistic variability. These synergies necessarily involve basic research concerning fundamental aspects of linguistic knowledge and the integration of diverse approaches to linguistic study, particularly as linked to the study of language as a cognitive endowment and process and the study of language as a central component of human cultures, social action and perception.
